Buying research peptides in Thailand: a checklist

Thailand has two peptide markets: physician-led clinics that prescribe compounds after a consultation, and research vendors that sell lyophilised vials as laboratory reagents. For research material, ask for the analytical report (COA) for the specific batch you will receive, confirm where the parcel ships from and that it is tracked, look for a published company identity, and treat prices far below the rest of the market with suspicion.

Search “peptides Thailand” and you get two very different kinds of result on the same page. Knowing which one you’re looking at saves money and trouble.

Clinic or vendor

Clinics operate under a physician licensed in Thailand. You book a consultation, in person or by video, and any treatment is prescribed and supplied by the clinic. Anything intended for use on a person belongs in that clinical setting.

Research vendors sell lyophilised peptides in sealed vials as laboratory reagents, labelled for research use only and not for human or veterinary use. There is no medical service attached, so there is no consultation and no medical advice.

Clinic sites often describe research-grade material as unregulated and risky. They have a commercial interest in saying so, but the underlying point is fair: there is no regulator checking a research vendor’s vials. The checks are yours to make.

What Thai rules say

Compounds such as BPC-157, retatrutide or tesamorelin are not registered as medicines with the Thai Food and Drug Administration (อย.). They may not be sold for human use under the Drug Act B.E. 2510, and we do not sell them for it: our products are supplied for laboratory research only. This article is general information, not legal advice. If you are unsure whether something is lawful for you, ask a Thai lawyer.

Before you pay

  1. Ask for the analytical report (COA) for the batch you will receive. Not a generic sample report. The batch number on the report should match the vial. We explain what to look for in how to read a certificate of analysis.
  2. Confirm where it ships from, and that it is tracked. Parcels dispatched inside Thailand typically arrive in 1–5 days. Vendors that say “Thailand” but ship from abroad add many days and a customs risk.
  3. Look for a company identity. A registered company name, an address, and a way to reach a person. Sites with only a chat ID and no legal entity tend not to be around long.
  4. Compare like with like. Prices per milligram vary a great deal between vendors for the same compound. A vial priced at a fraction of the market is not a bargain; it can mean a lower-purity synthesis or an underfilled vial.

Payment and delivery

Payment options differ by vendor: bank transfer, PromptPay and crypto are the common ones. Prefer a method that gives you a reference and a record. Delivery should be by a tracked courier, with the tracking number sent to you when the parcel ships.

A note on price

The Bangkok research market is competitive and prices for the same compound vary widely between vendors. Where a vendor sits in that range should be explained by something you can verify, usually the depth of their testing and documentation. Ask.
